Sour Cream Shrimp Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. minced green onion
3 Tbsp. minced celery
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can small deveined shrimp, rinsed, drained and chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
few drops red pepper sauce
chopped green onion
small shrimp (garnish)
assorted crackers
Preparation

Melt butter in medium size heavy saucepan; saute onion and celery until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes.
Combine cream cheese and sour cream.
Stir into vegetable mixture; blend.
Stir in shrimp, pepper and hot sauce.
Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until warm throughout.
Do not boil!
Transfer to serving container.
Garnish with green onion and shrimp.
Serve warm with assorted crackers.
