White Wine Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (without pudding mix)
    1 small box instant vanilla pudding mix
    1/2 c. white wine (cooking wine)
    1/2 c. Mazola oil
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1/4 c. white wine
Preparation
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Heat only while sugar is no longer grainy.
    Pour over warm cake.
    Allow to stand 30 minutes before turning out.
