Mabel Saltsman'S Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients to blend.
    Beat until light and fluffy (adding very small amounts of milk, if necessary for desired consistency).
    Spread on cooled cake.
    Usually enough \"left over\" to ice graham crackers.
