Apple Dumplings With Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; cut in Crisco and add milk.
    Mix well until moist.
    Roll out and cut in squares.
    Place some apple slices in each square and wrap dough around apples; seal.
    Place in greased pan and pour syrup over each dumpling.
