Cheddar Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. melted oleo
    1 egg
    4 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
    1 green pepper, if desired
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup cheese into mixing bowl.
    Combine milk, oleo and eggs; add to dry ingredients.
    Stir until flour is moistened.
    Pour into greased 9-inch round pan.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon; top with green pepper.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
