Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. potatoes
    3/4 c. finely chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Italian salad dressing
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. chopped celery
    12 hard-boiled eggs, cut up
Preparation
    Cook unpared potatoes covered in boiling salted water (1/2 teaspoon to 1 cup water) 30 to 40 minutes or until tender.
    Drain. Cool slightly.
    Peel and cut up into cubes.
    Toss with onions, salt, pepper and Italian dressing.
    Cover.
    Chill thoroughly at least 8 hours.
