Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 lb. steak, cut into 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch strips
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3 green peppers, cut into chunks
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 medium onion
    4 medium tomatoes, quartered
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Put oil, meat, spices and sugar in skillet. Brown meat. Cover, stirring, until tender. Add soy sauce, green peppers, bean sprouts and onion. Cook, covered, about 5 minutes longer. Make paste of cornstarch and water.
    Add to mixture.
    Cook until thick. Serve over cooked rice.
