Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 qt. milk
    salt
    pepper
    butter
Preparation
    Cover potatoes and onions with enough water to cook them. When well done add milk, salt, pepper and butter (to taste). Bring to scalding point, then simmer for a while for the milk to gain flavor from the potatoes and onions.
