Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add milk and flour alternately.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake 3 layers at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
