Pennsylvania Dutch Rivel Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 can crushed corn
chicken or beef broth
1 can stewed tomatoes (optional)
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and beaten egg.
Mix together with finger until crumbly. Drop mixture into boiling broth.
Add corn and tomatoes.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Rivels will look like boiled rice when cooked.
