Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. (1/2-inch thick) sirloin steak
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, minced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Cut meat across the grain into 1/2-inch strips 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.
Melt margarine in skillet and cook onion and mushrooms until tender.
Remove and cook meat until browned. Reserving 1/3 cup of the broth.
Stir remaining broth, catsup, garlic and salt into the meat.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Blend reserved broth with flour, stir into meat.
Add mushrooms and onion.
Heat to boiling.
Stir in sour cream and serve over noodles.
