Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    4 to 6 oz. shredded cheese
    8 strips fried bacon, crumbled or Bac*Os
Preparation
    Shred lettuce and spread in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Add remaining ingredients in layers.
    Cover with plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate for 8 hours.
