Apricot Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot Jell-O
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
2 jars apricot baby food
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tall can evaporated milk, chilled
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
chopped nuts for topping (optional)
Preparation

Bring to a boil the Jell-O, sugar and water.
Remove from heat and add cream cheese, baby food and pineapple.
Mix thoroughly. Chill bowl and beaters; beat milk until it thickens.
Fold into Jell-O mixture.
Top with ground or chopped nuts.
Chill until firm.
This recipe makes a lot, but it keeps well in refrigerator.
