Georgia Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (keep juice)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Mix oil and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Mix flour and nuts together, then add to first mixture.
Stir in pineapple. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Test with straw or wood pick.
Mix juice and powdered sugar; pour over hot cake.
Let cake cool completely in pan.
