Cranberry Sauce With Cognac - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
4 c. fresh cranberries
1/2 orange (rind, pulp chopped)
1/4 c. cognac
Preparation

Cook together sugar and water until it boils.
Continue boiling 3 minutes, or until syrup thickens.
Toss in cloves, cinnamon, cranberries and orange rind and pulp.
Cook over low heat until cranberries start to pop.
Stir occasionally and remove from heat.
Remove cloves and cinnamon.
Add cognac; mix well and chill.
