Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Blend soup with 1/2 cup water.
    Measure 1/4 cup soup mixture (save the rest).
    Mix with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and onion.
    Shape into balls (1-inch).
    Brown in 1 teaspoon of oil. Drain off fat.
    Add remaining soup mixture and cook over medium to low heat.
    Stir now and then.
    Serve with egg noodles.
