Cold Spiced Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 unpeeled, seeded, sliced oranges
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves
    1 (29 oz.) can pear halves
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 (3 oz.) cherry Jell-O
    3 sticks cinnamon
    5 whole cloves
Preparation
    Cut orange slices in half, cover with water and simmer until rind is tender.
    Drain well and set aside.
