Swedish Brownies - cooking recipe

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
3 tsp. almond extract
slivered almonds
Preparation

Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Melt margarine and cream with Crisco.
Add sugar, 4 eggs and salt; beat until fluffy.
Add flour and almond extract.
Sprinkle with sugar and slivered almonds. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
