Marinated Corn-Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can French-style beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can English peas, drained
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Put remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
    Pour vinegar mixture over veggies.
    Cover and chill at least 4 hours.
