Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. dry strawberry Jell-O
2 c. water
dash of salt
1/3 c. cornstarch
pat of butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
red food coloring
2 c. prepared and drained strawberries
pie crust

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except crust and strawberries and boil until thick, stirring as it cooks.
Let cool.
Bake pie crust. Cool.
Spread bottom with part of pie filling.
Put in strawberries.
Pour remainder of filling over berries. Refrigerate until serving time.
