Mexican Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 ripe tomatoes, chopped (2 c.)
    1/4 c. canned chopped green chiles
    5 drops red peppers
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook and stir onion, bell pepper and garlic in oil in 2-quart saucepan about 5 minutes or until bell pepper is tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Simmer, uncovered, about 15 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
