Mama'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Shortening or margarine should be at room temperature.
    Put all ingredients in a large bowl.
    Beat on low speed until ingredients are blended.
    Then beat on medium for 10 minutes. Pour into a sprayed tube or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Test for doneness with finger.
    If no depression is left, it is done.
