Pickle Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 large green peppers
    2 level tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients in salt.
    Let set 1 hour; drain well. Mix sugar, vinegar, celery and mustard; let boil.
    Add squash; boil 3 minutes.
    Stir frequently.
    Seal in sterile jar.
    Makes 6 pints or 3 quarts.
