Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. water
    1 egg
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla, water and egg until light and fluffy.
    Mix flour, soda and salt; blend into cream mixture.
    Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Remove from pan immediately.
    Makes about 50 cookies.
