Pedigreed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pork chops about 3/4-inch thick
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 c. barbecue sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown chops in oil.
    Add onion, barbecue sauce and water. Simmer, covered, until tender, about 45 minutes.
    Remove chops to serving platter.
    Spoon drippings over chops and keep them warm.
