Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1 1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
    2 1/2 tsp. allspice (optional)
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites; set aside.
    Combine flour and sugar; add egg yolks, beating well.
    Add remaining ingredients, folding in egg whites last.
    Pour batter into well greased and floured tube pan. Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
