Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium size sweet potatoes, baked
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, softened
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell fitted into 8-inch cake pan
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, softened
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Peel and pulp sweet potatoes.
    Mix with next 7 ingredients. Spoon mixture into pastry prepared cake pan.
    With electric mixer, blend next 5 ingredients.
    Beat until smooth and syrupy.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour this mixture atop sweet potato mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours until a knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
    Serve with whipped cream.
    Serves 12.
