Macaroni Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 c. shredded cheese
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 c. chopped pimentos
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook macaroni; pour milk over bread crumbs and cheese.
    Add macaroni, egg yolks, pimento, oleo and onion.
    Mix and fold in beaten egg whites with 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar.
    Bake 55 minutes at 325\u00b0.
