Low-Fat Turkey Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped green onion
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. smoked sausage, cooked and drained
    12 oz. cooked, diced turkey breast
    1 1/2 qt. water (add more if you want gumbo thinner)
Preparation
    Put cornstarch to brown in a pan in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Stir occasionally until brown. In a large pot sprayed with Pam, put onions and celery.
    Cook at medium-high until they become brown, then add browned cornstarch.
    Blend well in pot, then add the rest.
    Bring to a boil and then turn heat down.
    Cover and cook about 15 to 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice, sprinkled with 1/4 teaspoon file gumbo to each dish.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
