6 c. beef broth
6 shitake or other dried Chinese mushrooms, soaked & sliced
1/2 lb. pork, thinly sliced (can use chicken or sausage)
1 pkg. tofu, thinly sliced
1 can bamboo shoots, sliced
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. Chinese chili-garlic sauce*
2 tsp white pepper
1 egg, beaten
Sesame oil
chopped scallions

* Mix 1 Tbsp. minced garlic, 1 Tbsp. chili powder, 1 Tbsp. oil, white and cayenne pepper.
