Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 (No. 10) can red beans
    1 lb. 10 oz. ground beef
    2 oz. onions
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 (No. 10) can crushed tomatoes or tomato puree
    1/4 (No. 10) can diced tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Chop onion.
    Brown beef, onions and seasonings.
    Drain fat. Add to hamburger mixture the water and tomatoes.
    Add chili powder.
    Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours until flavors are blended.
    Stir frequently.
