Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes and cut in quarters.
    Place in saucepan and mash slightly to press out some juice.
    Cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add onion and butter.
    Place alternate layers of tomatoes and crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
