Mary'S Chocolate Oat Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. or 2 sticks butter, soften
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. oats
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. or 2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven at 375\u00b0.
    Beat butter and sugars until creamy.
    Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt.
    Beat well.
    Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
    Stir well. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy or 12 to 13 for crisp.
    Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
    Remove to wire rack.
    Cool completely. Makes 5 dozen (2 1/2-inch) cookies.
