Lunchbox Apple Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    2 Red Delicious apples, cored and chopped
    1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    1/4 c. finely chopped mild green chilies
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/8 tsp. salt
    dash of hot red pepper sauce (optional)
Preparation
    In a medium size bowl combine apples, green onion, celery and chilies; mix well.
    In a small bowl, mix together vinegar, oil, salt and hot red pepper sauce (if desired); stir into bean mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
    Makes about 4 servings.
