Bread Pudding With Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pineapple or other fruit (optional)
    2 egg whites
    3 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix crumbs and milk and let soak for 10 minutes.
    Add egg yolks, 1/3 cup sugar, fruit, butter and vanilla and stir.
    Cover and bake for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
