Sausage And Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    1 lb. pork sausage
    6 slices white bread, cubed
    2 tsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. dried dill
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt the butter in small pan and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Brown the sausage; drain well and set aside.
    Layer half the cubed bread in the buttered pan and sprinkle with half the basil, dill and cheese.
    Then layer the rest of the bread cubes, herbs and cheese.
    Sprinkle the sausage over all.
    Beat eggs well.
    Add milk. Pour over the contents of baking pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1/2 hour or until set.
    Cut into squares and serve.
