Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 (1 5/8 oz.) pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
Preparation
    Thaw spinach and press out liquid.
    Combine spinach, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion, water chestnuts and soup mix. Cover and chill several hours.
    Serve with crackers or chips or hollow out a round loaf of unsliced rye or pumpernickel bread and fill with dip.
    Cut up hollowed out bread to use as dippers.
