Kathy Lou'S Brown Sugar Pound Cake(Yields 1 Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. regular sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Put butter and eggs out night before making cake.
    Cream butter, shortening and sugars.
    Cream and cream and cream, until very fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Mix flour and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake in oven preheated to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
