Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. mace
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 3/4 c. rich milk or thin cream
Preparation

Mix spices and salt with sugar; add to sweet potatoes.
Stir until well mixed; add milk slowly to eggs.
Combine the two mixtures and pour into unbaked pie shells.
Place in hot oven for 5 minutes, reduce heat and bake until custard is set.
Serve plain or with whipped cream.
