California Chicken Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. chopped cooked chicken
1/2 c. apple, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. cream (sweet or sour)
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Preparation

Mix cream with mayonnaise.
Do not peel apple, cut in half and remove core.
Place peel side next to cutter when chopping apple. Sprinkle lemon juice over chicken and apple, mixing lightly. Combine remaining ingredients, using only enough mayonnaise to moisten.
Add chicken, apple and toss slightly together.
Serve cold with mayonnaise.
Serves 4.
