Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar, divided
2/3 c. orange juice, divided
1/3 c. margarine, melted and divided
2 (1 lb.) cans sweet potatoes, drained
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. pecans, chopped
peeled orange slices
marshmallows
Preparation

Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons orange juice and 2 teaspoons butter; mix and set aside to use for glaze topping.
Whip potatoes until smooth; beat in eggs.
Add remaining sugar, orange juice and butter.
Add salt, cloves and cinnamon; mix well and pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Pour glaze topping over pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Top with orange slices and marshmallows.
Place under broiler until marshmallows are delicately browned.
Yields 6 servings.
