Catfish Cabin Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    1/2 gal. cabbage
    12 oz. sweet salad cubes, drained
    2/3 c. carrots
    1 c. onion
Preparation
    Grate cabbage; sprinkle with sugar.
    Let set for 1 hour. Grate carrots.
    Dice onion.
    Drain juice off cabbage; mix with carrot and onion mixture.
    Add sweet salad cubes and salad dressing.
    Chill.
    Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
