Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. self-rising flour
1 heaping c. sugar
1 1/4 c. pure lard, room temperature
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place flour in a large mixing bowl.
Add sugar, lard, eggs and vanilla.
Mix by hand until all flour is absorbed.
Turn out on floured board.
Knead until dough is stiff (may have to add flour).
Roll thin and cut desired size.
Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
