Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C. shortening or butter
    1 1/2 C. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 3/4 C. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Chill dough.
