Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 large Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
    25 round butter crackers, crushed
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place half of onions in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with half of crackers and half of cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Pour melted margarine over all.
    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
    Yields 16 servings.
