Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Beat egg lightly in 1 cup measuring cup.
    Then fill rest of cup with milk.
    Add to dry ingredients and heat a little.
    Let rise for 5 minutes.
    Drop batter by tablespoons in boiling water or stew.
    Cover and let boil for 20 minutes.
