Beef Stew-Oven Baked - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. stewing beef
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    6 small carrots, cut up
    2 onions, sliced
    1/2 c. celery
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 slice white bread, cubed
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. red wine or water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
    Place in covered casserole. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Stir after 1 hour.
