Apple-Raisin Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. celery, chopped (with leaves)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. margarine
    8 c. soft bread crumbs, cubed
    3 tart apples, chopped
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. dried sage leaves
Preparation
    Cook and stir celery and onion in margarine in 10-inch skillet until tender.
    Stir in 1/3 of the bread cubes.
    Pour into deep bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients; toss.
    Place in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan or 3-quart casserole.
    Cover and cook at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Uncover and cook until hot and slightly crisp (about 15 minutes longer).
