Sweet-Sour Beef Balls With Pineapple - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chopped beef
1 egg
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. oil
1 c. pineapple juice
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. vinegar
6 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar
4 slices pineapple, cut in pieces
3 large green peppers, cut in strips lengthwise
Preparation

Mix beef, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, salt, onion and pepper; form into small balls.
Brown in small amount of oil; drain.
Add pineapple juice to oil; heat.
Add mixture of remaining cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, water and sugar.
Cook until juice thickens, stirring constantly.
Add meat balls, pineapple and green peppers; cook until they are slightly cooked but still crunchy.
Serve over rice.
Serves 6 to 8.
