Ingredients

1 large onion
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
vegetable oil
Preparation

Peel onion and cut into 1/4-inch slices.
In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk until frothy.
Stir in flour with a wire whisk.
Pour about 1 inch of oil in large skillet and heat to 375\u00b0.
Dip onion rings, a few at a time, into batter, then fry 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
If batter is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons milk.
